Diamond Cut

The cut of a diamond refers to its shape and on how the light is reflected back to the viewer. A diamond that is excellently cut will appear very fiery and brilliant while one that is poorly cut will appear dark and less brilliant, regardless of its color or clarity.
Well cut diamonds appear more brilliant and generally larger than other stones of the same carat weight. Unlike deeply cut diamonds, an “ideal” stone has both increased brilliance and diameter.
